Description:	• What is health and safety • Factors affecting H/S • Employers and employees responsibilities • Defining hazards and risks • Risk assessment • Accident prevention • Different work equipment • Supervisory role and responsibility • Dealing with electricity and safety measures • Dealing with different chemicals – handling and storage • Manual handling and ergonomics • Personal protective equipment • Use of fire blanket Training Programme free of charge for Unemployed and Inactive Persons. • Interested applicants in MALTA: Courses' payments can be submitted at ETC Hal Far Training Complex. • Interested applicants in GOZO: This training programme has the possibility of being provided in Gozo, however it is subject to the availability of the trainers and depending on the demand for the course.
